The Privacy Policies ©Constant Contact apply once Springboard clients opt in to receive Springboard email campaigns. Springboard will not sell or use list complied from ©Constant Contact other than sending relevant information pertaining to job opportunities, job search, interviewing preparation, information as it relates to resumes, professional documents, job market information, hiring company information or any other additional information as it pertains to the job search process. Who Uses Our Services

Our services are available to different users.

Client: An individual who uses our Services

Author: An individual who drafts articles, posts content or creates other content that is included on our Site or posted to our social media outlets.

Coach: An individual who provides career coaching Services through our business/Site.

Writer: An individual who offers professional writing Services through our business/Site.

Employer: An entity that had a company profile on the Site or otherwise has joined with Springboard to provide services and/or is retaining Springboard for Services.

Links to Third Party Sites

We may provide links or references to other websites as a convenience for our clients and other site visitors. We do not endorse or make any representations about third party websites or the owners of those sites. We do not own or control those sites or their privacy practices, which may be different from our own, so please use appropriate caution on these other sites. Our privacy policy does not cover any personal information that you provide to any third-party site, so please review the privacy policies of any web site that collects personal information about you.

The Information We Collect

We only collect personally identifiable information about you if you are a Springboard client so that you can take advantage of the services and products we provide. We will, however, collect anonymous demographic and aggregate site analytical data strictly for the purpose of improving our website.

Springboard Email & Services

If you select and agree to any of our services, as a Springboard client, we may ask you to provide your name, mailing address, email address, and phone number. This information will only be used for specific services to complete our final product provided to you (professional writing services, job search service, career coaching services, interviewing services, employer services-email and contingency). We will only use this information to complete services rendered or in order to contact you while providing services. Additional information may include your educational background, your previous work experiences, any certifications or accreditations you have received, references and your work preferences (e.g., work schedule, industry preference, etc.). We will only obtain this information from you, with your permission. If an Employer requests any client information through Springboard, permission must be obtained from the client.

Choice/Opt-in & Opt-out

As a Springboard client, you will receive occasional newsletters, promotional materials, and event invitations. You may opt in online on our Site or through working with a Springboard writer or coach (with your permission, they may add your email to our email list). If, at any time, you no longer wish to receive these communications, you may opt-out by following the instructions included in each newsletter or communication, or by emailing us at info@springboardjobs.com. Finally, you can optout of receiving all or certain communications by contacting us using the information in the “Contact” section of our Site. Email is either used personally between Springboard writers and/or coaches while providing a service for the client. Or through Opt-in email using ©Constant Contact which provides job opportunities and other relevant job search information.

How We Use Cookies

Cookies are text files place on your computer to collect standard internet log information and visitor behavior information. This information is used to track visitor use of the website and to compile statistical reports on website activity. The web application can tailor its operations to your needs, likes and dislikes by gathering and remembering information about your preferences. You can set your browser not to accept cookies and the above websites tell you how to remove cookies from your browser. Overall, cookies help us provide you with a better website, by enabling us to monitor which pages you find useful and which you do not. A cookie in no way gives us access to your computer or any information about you, other than the data you choose to share with us.

How We Use the Information We Collect

If you register your email with us, the contact information you provide us via ©Constant Contact will be used to send a welcome message that confirms your email registration. If you do not wish to receive ongoing email from Springboard, you will have the option to opt-out of future emails at any time. You may also request to optout of ongoing email using the form in the “Contact” section of our website. A confirmation will be sent directly to your email upon opting out of any email campaigns with Springboard. All ©Constant Contact privacy terms apply once you opt in to receive Springboard email.

Job Opportunity Email

Job postings contained in all Springboard emails are a value-added service to our opt-in clients, and the entire hiring process is controlled by the posting Employer ,unless otherwise noted. Springboard Careers, Inc. is not responsible for closing dates, hiring dates, interview scheduling and the entire selection process which is set by the posting Employer/Employers. All job description information and content is provided by the posting Employer/Employers/hiring company. Posting Employer, in some cases, may provide their business logo that is only used on email that is approved via writing by the Employer. Springboard will never use any information given by Employer until they approve final copy.

Coaching and Writing Services

The career coaching and professional document writing process is a collaborative process that both client and coach and/or writer needs to be actively involved with the end goal that is set by the coach and/or writer and agreed by the client. If at any time, paid in full client does not respond or follow through in any capacity of the collaborative process and at least 3 attempts (via email and/or phone) over a 4 week period have been made by the coach and/or writer, the coach and/or writer is not obligated to reach out to continue the service. If there are extenuating circumstances, the coach and/or writer will be more than reasonable to pause service until circumstance is rectified.

Sharing Personal Information

We will not sell, rent, lend or otherwise transfer your personal information to any third party except as expressly set forth in this section. We may provide your personal information to third parties who assist us in completing the services we provide to you, such as our credit card processor and the companies or individual contractors that deliver any services that you may order from us. Finally, we may disclose information about you if we have a good faith belief that we are required to do so by law, to respond to claims, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Springboard or others. You will not have the ability to opt-out of disclosures to such third parties.

Occasionally, we may provide your personal information to our employer customers, advertisers or other business partners to allow them to offer special promotions exclusively to our registered clients. In such cases, we’ll provide nothing other than basic contact information. Out of respect for your privacy, we give you the option to request that we not share your information with our business partners, so that you do not receive the promotions or other marketing related communications our business partners may offer, as outlined in the “Choice/Opt-out” section above. This is in only rare occasions when we feel a promotion benefit our clients.

How We Protect the Information We Collect for Payment

The security of your personal information is important to us. We follow generally accepted industry standards to protect the personal information submitted to us, both during transmission and once we receive it. No method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage, however, is 100% secure. As a  result, although we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security. Our third party payment systems are tested regularly to ensure compliance with the latest standards set by the Payment Card Industry, and our client email database is protected using a double layer of firewalls. When we post to social media (Springboard’s Facebook, Springboard’s X, Springboard’s Instagram and the LinkedIn profile associated with Springboard: https://www.linkedin.com/in/juliemacwilliams/ we always obtain permission from the Employer when they are posting a job with us. Service Payment

Springboard reserves the right to cease any service if payment is not made in full by the due date reflected on the client’s invoice.

Changes to this Privacy Policy

We reserve the right to modify this privacy policy at any time. If we make changes to this policy, we will use reasonable efforts to notify you of any changes if we feel it is of importance to you. Also, if any of those changes reflect a material change in how we use personal information we collected from you before the changes take effect, we will give you a chance to decide whether or not those changes will apply to you.
